The newest Egyptian spring asks more questions than it answers, and probably creates more problems than it solves. Certainly, the free world should rejoice at the ouster of the Muslim Brotherhood leader and his minion. The main problem, however, is that Morsi was elected by the majority in a free and mostly fair election. While the streets were packed with throngs of anti-Morsi protesters, who is to say that their numbers represented a majority of voters who would have voted against Morsi in three years? The will of the people should be voiced through the ballot-box, not through the army.
Hopefully the next president will have more luck, and more time, to accomplish what Egypt (and what all nations) deserve. If he doesn't act fast enough, or move in the direction the protestors want him to go (if anyone can discern exactly what that direction is), he is going to find himself facing the muzzle of the protestors.
